The eight organizations that were approved for funding have been busy providing their due diligence packages. Our office is currently scheduling site visits to meet key personnel and volunteers, see completed work and also meet some of the people impacted by each of these programs. Eight organizations will receive funding to further their programs. This significant milestone is a direct result of an open, public RFP process and the support of our funding partners including, The State of SC, Beaufort County and Jasper County, the City of Beaufort, the Town of Bluffton, the City of Hardeeville, the Town of Hilton Head Island, the Town of Port Royal, and the Town of Yemassee. Funding will transfer after due diligence is complete and approved. The organizations approved for funding are:

]]> Seeking Organizations to Provide Assistance to Homebuyers https://bjht.millerdesignandmarketing.com/seeking-organizations-to-provide-assistance-to-homebuyers/ Tue, 19 Mar 2024 21:13:34 +0000 https://bjht.millerdesignandmarketing.com/?p=1202 BJHT is requesting proposals from those companies or organizations experienced in providing financing to homebuyers. This funding is intended to expand existing programs and efforts that help first time homebuyers. Funding under this program is available to organizations on a competitive basis. BJHT is making available $250,000 to assist approximately 30 households secure their first home. Funds can be used to assist with closing costs, downpayments, soft second mortgages, or to reduce the price of home. Applications must be submitted by 5:00 p.m. on March 28, 2024.
